Cell membrane question ..I have to use 3 diagrams to show how the structure of the membrane is determained by the nature of its constituients (components i guess)
so far all i have come up with is drawing 2 things which im not even sure if they are correct: number one: drawing a protein inside a cell membrane and saying how the proteins can change the membranes shape depending on how many there are and the positions of them because they are all part of the membrane 0 = protein - = bilayer ---0---0--0----- so i guess that changes they shape (considering aspects such as number of proteins, size, shape) second thing i can think of is drawing a lipid. [polar heads] N P [non polar tails] l l but this i have no clue how to relate to structure, and i need 1 more picture
when drawing a cell membrane you should dram the lipids like that:
O: hydrophilic heads ll: hydrophobic tails OOOOO ll ll ll ll ll ll ll ll ll ll OOOOO
It matters not how strait the gate
How charged with punishment the scroll I am the Master of my fate I am the Captain of my soul.
why don't you use google ,it can search whatever you want. such as: http://images.google.com/images?q=cell+membrane&hl=en
google luck ^_^
