GametesI have a BIO final tomorrow and I can't find some of these answers. I am not a bio major but I still thought I could utilize this site. Here are the questions that I have:
How are spores formed? What comes first? Pollination or the pollen tube? How long do human gametes live? What is the mother's placenta called?
Spores are formed through meosis.
Pollen moves through the pollen tube to then enact pollination. In the enviornment...about 10 minutes. In the body...the female creates her gametes while still an embryo. The male usually expells his within a month, desired or undesired. The mother's placenta is called the placenta!
