Watch NOVA onlineA lot of you probably already know about this, but PBS has a cool site with a bunch of NOVA programs you can watch online for free. They're usually divided up into chapters, but the entire programs are available to watch. Sorry, but I don't think you can download, only for watching streaming video. Broadband definitely recommended.
Topics range from cancer research to mapping the human genome to physics and astronomy. click here
wow, very nice. I really appreciate these since I don't have a TV. (and haven't had one for almost a year

um...basically because we moved here about a year ago and left our old tv behind. My dad was planning on getting a flatscreen with dvd player but missed the sale. He bought a different one, but we found out that the box had been opened b4 and we returned it, so were just waiting for another sale.
It is not that hard without a tv, because i spend nearly all my time either reading, drawing, or online. btw, i just finished watching the 1st hour of NOVA's 'elegant universe'. It was very, very interesting. I liked it a lot. "I know how exciting pillaging is," the giant said fondly, ruffling Jack's hair. "No matter how much you're tempted, just say no."

just asking, but is cable/DSL internet available in romania and if it is, is it very expensive?
Here it costs $40 a month "I know how exciting pillaging is," the giant said fondly, ruffling Jack's hair. "No matter how much you're tempted, just say no."

It is, you get about 16 KB/sec at download for 30 euros a month. But it is only in the cities, and i live at the country...

thanks, i love the show nova, my favorite has to be the one on Einstein's study of light and how it was used to create the theory of relativity and diprove all the early scientists about the rate at which all things fall. Another of my favorites, well, just in general, would be the studies of the universe and the body of water on something along the lines of Utoria?, not sure about the name, but it is one of Jupiter's moons and has a body of water greater than that of the Earth's, and it is theorized that we could use it as a backup if the Earth were ever in danger of being destroyed (the Sun turning into a Supernova, or getting hit with vast meteors greater than the size of Uranus, which is HUGE!!!
Yes I have seen this before.
NOVA is one of my favorite programs. Its good for those who can not get that program in their country. Because someday in life you will have been all of these".
