Species Variability

Postby azarbock » Tue Oct 11, 2005 8:51 pm

Can anyone explain to me why sexual species are more variable than asexual species? Also, how does this variability come about? Thanks in advance for any insight!

Meiosis --> prophase I meiosis --> Diakynesis --> crossing over or gene link --> recombination --> genetic variation
Q: Why are chemists great for solving problems?
A: They have all the solutions.

Shal i post the translated lesson in a genetics book called "meiosis-source of variability"?
