falling in lovehi 2 all
does anyone know which ograns/hormones are responsible for allowing a person to fall in love???? and can a person have an excess of it??? pls can sum1 help me!!!
Do you really think that love can be quantified in the terms of several neurochemical reactions. I myself have never been in love but there are some people who are more susceptible to falling in love I think. Maybe this is because they have more of some kind of protein in there brain. In books and in movies people relate love to someone's soul which we haven't yet found. In Michael Cordy's book "Lucifer" they find away to connect to the soul but as far as I am aware it hasn't been done in real life yet.
Speaking as a man, most of us probably fall in love with a sudden rush of blood to a certain area. Mj
But love is not "a sudden rush of blood to a certain area". It is something more than that. I've found this.Have a look at it: http://www.bioon.com/book/biology/campb ... /love.html It matters not how strait the gate
How charged with punishment the scroll I am the Master of my fate I am the Captain of my soul.
A person who falls in love more easily than others probably doesn't have an excess amount of a certain protein, but is more likely suffering from insecurity or vunerability. Its psychological, actually.

sorry if im being rude, but i dnt think im insecure just because i fall in love with people more easily than others!!! but thnx anyway
heehee sorry, but i was just reiterating what I had read and heard from others. Didn't mean to target anyone in particular...

apology acceptedits ok. i accept ur apology................
everyone says i fall in love too easily, so i guess i was looking for a scientific explanation behind it
What does that have to do with anything?
Back on the topic... Love is kinda hard to quantify but if you were to ask about arousal, it would be much easier. Usually the signal cascade starts at the brain, causing euphoria and giddiness. Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time; Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace; ~Niebuhr
love reaction also connected with hormone reaction which is represented by PEA (Phenylethylamine) as a 'happy' hormone...
Q: Why are chemists great for solving problems?
A: They have all the solutions.
It is all in Ozge's site.. Very interesting, bookmarked. And yes, i agree: when it comes to love, the whole is more than the sum of the parts
