characteristics of silt loam soil - questionwhat are the general characteristics of silt loam soil?
does water holding capacity describe a particular soil type? plz help me..
I don't think the water holding ability defines it but rather the concentration of substances such as clay or organic material.

As I suspected, it depends on composition. The link below says that soil aggregation also is a factor to be considered.
