What is this? REWARD!!!

below is a link to pics of an unknown part of an unknown animal

reward to whoever figures out what it is gets a cookie

EDIT:
this thing was found over the summer on a walk on an island in rhode island. the island is sort of big, enough so that the diversity is compareable to that of mainland rhode island. i dont know whether it was found near the coast or far inland. it belongs to a modern naturally occuring animal. the actual specimen is about 6 inches long

its a powerpoint because thats how i got it. long story

I'll have to agree with victor, it does look like a part of the pelvic bone.
