Production of genemodified food (GMO food)

Dear biologists

I just got an assignment regarding the topic about production of GMO food and need some good sources/weblinks to help me out a bit.
I'm suppose to concentrate about the principles of genemodification and the process/methods that's being used for genemodification of plants (could be fruitplants). This project can't be more than 25 pages and it's just a little part of the Molecular Biology course that I'm taking this semester.
