Choosing Genetic Topics

Postby mels » Wed Sep 25, 2013 7:33 pm

Hi everyone!

I've been studying Genetics & Bioengineering. I actually started last week so it's my first year and very early days of my branche.
I'm not native English speaker but we take our lessons in English. Also we have an English lesson which is about writing reports, thesis, more serious things etc. Our instructor want us to make a report about our branches. Actually we have to do that or we can't pass this lesson. We have time till the end of term but firstly we have to choose our topic and let her know about our topics.

Of course I have general information about my branche but we do not take these branche lessons such as microbiology, cell biology, kind of genetics etc. at first year. My first year is more general biology and other engineering stuff. So I'm very confused about subjects. However I need your advices to choose my topic. Please consider that I do not have knowledge about depth research subjects.

Thank you so much already!

So should it be about what you are doing/studying or about something more general but related to your major?

Cis or trans? That's what matters.
