Why do you assume I meant American coin? I was thinking of a British coin
How can some people control the force so it always lands on one side? Maybe with a double sided coin It's always funny until someone gets hurt. Then it's just hilarious.
oh, it's the same for the american quarter. The ppl control the force so there's always a set amount of rotations hence the same side.

Let me guess... Those people work in casinos?

Anyways;), let us say you had 4 kids, what are the chances of all 4 kids being the same gender? I mean if you think about in a heads-tails situation, I doubt the coin would land heads or tails 4 times in a row. So isn't the possibility of all 4 kids being the same gender low?
Yes it is. The theoretical chances are biggest that they are 2 boys and 2 girls, but at such a low number, the odss are in reality the same as having 4 boys or 4 girls

well you have 1/2 chance of getting a boy/girl on the first try, another half on the second try so the total chance of getting 4 boys/ girls is 1/16.

Only in thery. In reality, at such small numbers, just like mithril said you can not say that your are due to have a boy or a girl. Probabilities don't help here

Well if it is 1/16 chance for all 4 the same gender, then is oretty unlikelly this will happen right (all 4 being the same gender)?
Also did scientist discover ways yet for humans to actually choose gender in babies? In crocodiles it is pretty simple the get the babies you want, over 90 degress C its a male and under 90 degress C it is a female. Did they find out a similar technique yet with humans (aside from genetic engineering which is in its infancy)?
Once in every 16 family with 4 children in average... More seriously it seems that some genetic factors can influence the balance in one direction or the other.
90 degrees C? Rather Farenheit, no? because at 90C you have hard boiled egg... Maybe worth a try for a gourmet with a strange taste, but surely not good for crocodilian reproduction.... I remember reading that some people were trying to separate sperms containing X and Y chromosoms based either on their weight/density (with a centrifuge) or on their behaviour in an electric field. I don't know if it really works... Patrick
