An idea about the origin of cancerHi All
I was a medicine student in France, but I'm still very interested in biology After hearing that in cancer there is lot of mutation in gene for proteins which separate the two part of the DNA. So i think that the cause of cancer come from that if there is too much mutations in those genes for those proteins, then there is to much torque in the DNA, so it's harder to separate the two part of the DNA and it's harder to repair the DNA, by this way there is more and more mutations in the DNA, sometimes mutations on oncogenes which them really create the cancer.
Re: An idea about the origin of cancerHmm. If instead of "So I think that the cause of cancer ..." you wrote "So I think that a factor sometimes increasing cancer ..." then I think you have a reasonable and testable hypothesis. However, one-size-fits-all cancer mechanisms are often proposed and quashed by data. Perhaps this contributes to some cancers, but there are many paths arriving there. There is an amazingly complex landscape of genetic variations in cancers.
Re: An idea about the origin of cancer
Excluding the last sentence, that's pretty much what I was going to say, but with a smaller vocabulary. Hehe Maybe you should get your hypothesis tested, there. :D
