How to use PCR enhancer

Hi,
I would like to know how to add PCR enhancer.. From my reading, it says that i can use 6.7% DMSO or 1.25% Formamide. but i'm confuse the % is from the total PCR reaction or from the concentration of stock. Do you guys have any idea?
