Need help identifying bones found on beach

We found this spine on the beach at St. Augustine after a hurricane last summer. We cleaned the bones and mounted them, but I sure would like to identify the animal it came from so I can add a plaque identifying it. Does anyone have any idea what type of animal this is?

Hi Bengalcat. I have no idea what it is, but to make ID a bit easier can you tell whether the top part is the base of a skull that has broken away? And was it attached when you retrieved the skeleton? My guess if it is attached, and it is just a guess, is dolphin.
