journalConsider the reference:
Chen, H., Hopper, S.L. and Cerniglia, C.E. (2005) Biochemical and molecular characterization of an azoreductase from Staphylococcus aureus, a tetrameric NADPH-dependent flavoprotein. Microbiology,151, 1433-1441. This is: a. A good reference for both the pKa and molar extinction coefficient of methyl red at 500nm b. A reference for the molar extinction coefficient of the acid form of methyl red but it isn't exactly at 500nm c. A good reference for the molar extinction coefficient of the acid form of methyl red at 500nm d. A good reference for the pKa of methyl red e. A reference that quotes an extinction coefficient for the base form of methyl red at 430nm and so not directly relevant to this study http://mic.sgmjournals.org/content/151/5/1433.long I think it might be 'C'?
