Consider the reference:

This is:

a. A good reference for both the pKa and molar extinction coefficient of methyl red at 500nm

b. A reference for the molar extinction coefficient of the acid form of methyl red but it isn't exactly at 500nm

c. A good reference for the molar extinction coefficient of the acid form of methyl red at 500nm

d. A good reference for the pKa of methyl red

e. A reference that quotes an extinction coefficient for the base form of methyl red at 430nm and so not directly relevant to this study

I found in the article only one mention of extinction coefficient (of FMN) and no pK
