Well i like all kinds of wild life not just marine. ive had pet sharks and i scuba dive too
Iam lookin for a zoology major in california as well. I hear d UC Davis has a good biology and ecology program but im not sure if they have a zoology major. If you have any info in colleges that offer zoology in california please post here. Thanks
I've got a test also... IGCSE Cambridge in one more year.... June 2006. I'm thinking (for a lomg time ago) in going to university with good biology, mostly animals.... zoology YEAH!!! Know a uni with good bio that accepts IGCSE certificate??? Does Cambridge have good biology????
If we love our children, we must love our earth with tender care and pass it on, diverse and beautiful, so that on a warm spring day 10,000 years hence they can feel peace in a sea of grass, songs from the birds, and can find joy in being alive.
Aww, don't worry about job, you even don't start your study yet, my dear. Biology is a basic science, so it provides a basic understanding for another fields e.g. medical, agriculture, husbandry, etc. Even it can be applied in another fields you never thought, e.g. bank, law firm, police, etc. Since there is a life, Biology will take place, so don't worry
One more thing, please don't put yourself into a specific field of Biology too early, before you learn all things of Biology. Also don't close your mind for any fields of Biology just because you think it is difficult to understand or because you don't like it. Once you said "I don't like it" or "I can't make it" or something else, your brain will be set to behave that way. Just like when you think you are ill, soon you will get ill for sure. That's what we called as "nerve languange" in PNI (psycho-neuro immunology). That's why we must think positively for anything because it will help ourselves to be successful in facing all things and achieving our ideas. ![]()
Whoa.. thanks Dr.Stein..
Yea it's kinda too early to decide, but when we are already interested in it.. We'll do our best to get it. Being a zoologist.. I still don't understand 'what do we do'.. yea there are so many fields for zoologists. (what.. banks..?) (I never had any experience in Biology.. I only know the basic, and it's not good enough lol..) Sbagliando s'impara..
Poi studiaro' sempre la biologia..
My undergraduate diploma is Zoology
Now in my faculty there is no department anymore. All will graduate under one program: Biology. This brings a good news for everyone who loves Biology, especially the ones who study in my faculty cos their prospect is wider... One of them is our friend here, Victor ![]()
Out of curiosity, how can biology be applied in banks? Are you reffering to fingerprint and retin scanner to open really important seifs?

Yeah, it sound unique but it is true. Some friends of mine work in bank, first I wanted to laugh because it sounded impossible, but then I understand their job description is still in biology

Cool... How it would sound so say: "Hi, I am a bioogist and i work at the 2nd National bank"

the payThe pay, I thought, was much higher! I went to a website that said it was $60,000 to $80,000 a year.
