Essential Oils- QuestionHi everyone, how are you doing?
I have been reading about "how to make your own perfume", and it is mentioned somewhere that "essential oils" are of the essential ingredients, what are these, and where can I get them from? Thank you
Yeah, I have looked through that! And I got no answer for my question because they mainly mention common names like "lavender oil" and so. But there is not something like a scientific name.
And where to get them from? I mean like, would I find them in a pharmacy?
Often they are isoprenoids. Here you can find few names http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_essential_oils
The problem is that they are usually mixtures, so you cannot say that lavender oil contains one particular substance only. They can be often found in that kind of shops with the candles and aromatherapy and that stuff http://www.biolib.cz/en/main/
Cis or trans? That's what matters.
