drying techniqueguys, any suggestions on how to dry a watersampling glass bottle after autoclave, i dont have any drying oven here a the lab.
If your incubator is not in micro control, I'd be careful. If your autoclave has no drying cycle, you could trying leaving the bottles insidethe unopned utoclave while it cools - this might pull a neg pressure with some residual heat might dry the bottles.
ok thanks, can u name some brands of autoclaves with drying cycle, so that i can ask my boss to purchase one/?
Sir, since i have no drying oven to dry my moist water sampling bottles after autoclaving, do you think the trapped moist inside the bottle will affect the results for total plate count test? what is the standard for water sampling bottles? should it be really dry or it doesnt matter if its dry or wet? can u give me a reference? thanks;)
