AHA postdoctoral fellowshipI am awarded with AHA postdoctoral fellowship. I am working in Texas, so the stipend is only 39000 per year. Can any current or previous awardee please tell me if your institution/lab added more money to your stipend? And how much they added? I hope to know what the general rule is, so i can negotiate a little bit with my boss.
Thanks!
Re: AHA postdoctoral fellowshipI heard from one of my senior mentioned to me that it is "quite common" for a lab to add additional stipend to your award, to encourage the rest of the researcher in the group to write a grant and to become more independent. But i don't know how "common" it really is, that's why I want to ask for opinion!
Thanks!
