Introduction for membersModerator: BioTeam Hey Guys!
Name: Lilly Nationality: German Gender: XX Age: 22 Education: Studying at the university. If everything works out fine, I'll be a BSc. soon. Interest: I must admit I cannot write sth really extraordinary in here, for I guess I'm a rather casual girl: I listen to a lot of music, I like mountainbiking (I'm however not half as sporty as I'd like to be Aaaand... since it's fun, here's a picture of the town where I study... http://www7.pic-upload.de/16.05.12/vbs758wwmpl4.jpg I love spring and summer, when everything's green! Why I'm here? There are a couple of reasons. Honestly I got a bit depressed and frustrated at the most online forums I've been involved in, for... many reasons. Losing somehow my belief in a basic intelligence of people when it comes to discussing things and opinions. That’s not supposed to imply that I perceive myself as perfect (I’m far from that) but at least I try to be respectful and understand, which sometimes gets difficult, when it’s not mutual. And I'm tired of that. I'm tired of grown-ups acting like complete fools or just behaving like angry old bitter men to compensate.. whatever, I don't know. Well - when I read over most of the topics here, I got really attached to the.. well, climate here, the way people talk to each other, as if everyone knew that another human being is sitting at the other end. Maybe I'll be proven wrong... but I hope not. Maybe I can learn one thing or another, just increase my knowledge about all sort of biology things. And of course I hope I can improve my language a bit. So feel free to correct my language, grammar etc. whenever sth is wrong. Hope that wasn't too much for the beginning. Just guess it's sort of nice to know who's there. Well, I hope for the best and prepare for the worst Best regards, LittleBird Please feel free to correct my language if any mistake occurs - I'd really like to improve my language skills :)

*laughs* Yes, indeed, show-off was what I wanted to say (of course in a kind way
You're learning german? Please feel free to correct my language if any mistake occurs - I'd really like to improve my language skills :)
Re: Introduction for membersMy appreciation!
I perceive German as a rather difficult language to learn. Sometimes even I (as a native speaker) struggle to choose the appropriate expression (e.g. there are some terms containing either 'mich' or 'mir' and every now and then I hesitate in order to estimate which one of them is the correct one...) Even though I'm sure you'll have plenty of German acquantainces... feel free to contact me if you have any questions at which I could be helpful. Please feel free to correct my language if any mistake occurs - I'd really like to improve my language skills :)

Thats because its not my real name (i hope its ok to answer here). I dont quite like my birth name (which btw wouldnt sound german either), so i prefer to be "Jack" in the internet.
