Identify this mammal?

I found this adorable critter via a Google Images search, but I have absolutely no idea what it is. I've never seen it before other than this picture.

A Greater Glider from Australia, related to opossums, which tend to be more vicious than adorable.

Vicious? But it looks so sweet and non-threatening, like a teddy bear...D:
Guess it's a trick, then. Kind of like raccoons. They're cute enough, but I'm fairly certain they'll claw your face off.
