Electric/Glow bacteriaI was wondering if anyone knew a good strain of bacteria that would glow or be magnetic that is safe(does not cause disease and grows in agar that other bacteria doesn't grow in) and can be obtained fairly cheaply.
There are some GFP E. coli available for free or almost if used for educational purpose. Where are ou located? It can be important.

Re: Electric/Glow bacteriaHow safe is it, because I can't work with anything that is even remotely unsafe so...
And I would be using it as just an interesting experiment not part of an educational institute.
So I suspet noone will ever want to send you anything. Because if noone is trained, even the most inocuous bacteria can be dangerous.
