I am posting some good biology questions. I want to discuss the answers with everyone here. I have marked my answers for only some of them though. Post your answers too.

Now in 26) I say answer should be b. because the questions asks for variation AMONG INDIVIDUAL monkeys.





ECOLOGY:


I need help with this one. I have my guesses but I am not sure.



ANIMAL PHYSIOLOGY:



I think it has to be insectivore (like a bird). The non-glandular region could be the crop and the glandular could be the stomach. Your opinions are welcome.


I find this tricky. Help please.

1. of course the concentrations have different values anyway, the speed of mol2 is much higher for higher concentration, thus I think it is smaller, because then there is more molecules and the speed should be faster. It could also suggest higher GC content, since C-G pairs bind stronger. On the other hand, repetitions will probably slow down the binding. But all of this is just a guess

GENETICS 58) Yeah, I think large population should only be K not M because (in M) from generation 2 to 3, there is a drop in frequency of 0.30 which is large I must say. Maximum genetic variability too will only be in K not M. (K&M would have been the answer if both had same variability)

CELLBIO 1) I don't understand this one.

CELLBIO 48) Why do you think a is false?
d: compare Q and R at 10°C ie on the x axis.
Q and R vary only in light intensity.
