antibody/antigen pair with a Kd of 10^-6 M or higherHi, I'm looking for an antibody/antigen pair with a Kd of 10^-6 M or higher, (that is, weaker affinity than that) I was trying to use the protein data bank and could find binding affinity under advanced search, but how do I specify antibody? Also, if anyone happens to know of a pair of molecules that fulfills that criterion, that would be very helpful as well. They could both be antibodies, or neither could be antibodies, the type of molecule doesn't matter too much as long as it's readily available (like an antibody).
Don't ask why, ask why not!
Re: antibody/antigen pair with a Kd of 10^-6 M or higherImperfect in what way? For example, if I know of two antibodies that bound to each other with a Kd of 10^-6, I could modify one of them to not bind as well? How could I do that?
The Kd thing is kind of important. I know it can be measured but I would prefer an already known pair. Just wondering if anyone knew off the top of their head. Thanks anyway. Don't ask why, ask why not!
