Ecologically situation in my region - a catastrophic

Postby monozoob » Mon Nov 29, 2010 1:19 pm

Hi all, I want to tell you about ecologically situation in my town
I live in Ukraine (Drogobych). Our people are absolutely not thinking about the future of
us and our children throw garbage anywhere, just awful. Do you think if I could get people
to pay for cleaning services. It would be interesting to know how you do things with this,
photo on my blog http://scavenger-cleanworld.blogspot.com/ Tell me but as a garbage collection
state of affairs in other countries, how many people pay for garbage collection, it is interesting
to know ???

(dear moderators, do not delete this post is not commerce)

what about contacting some enviromentalist group such as Greenpeace, in this case they could be useful (although it's questionable, whether would they be interested...)

Doubt it jackbean - not enough publicity for Greenpeace. They're in the getting-donation business as folks see when they visit their website.

As insightly as garbage is, would your attention be better directed at water and air quality that might bring diect health threats? How far are you from Chernobyl?
