How can dsRNA cross cellular boundaries?Hi, I was reading a paper on the first discovery of dsRNA's interference in C. elegans(Andrew Fire, et al., 1998), and I found that dsRNA injected into gonad or body-cavity can be passed on to other cells and even into the next progeny. Does anybody know how this can happen? Is it replicated along with the endogenous DNA? or is it simply transferred?
