Postby yauhiulok » Thu Feb 10, 2005 8:59 am

hi, im not really sure about where to post this so here i am.

question is, how to u grow more facial hair.
haha, i understand that testosterone is the one responsible for it, but, i can't just take some testosterone pills or smth like that right. Is there any way to simtulate the growth of facial hair? any food / fruit that will help??

Well my only advice is to eat more protein - Facial hair is made up of proteins so eat foods high in protein...

It does not take that much protein to grow any type of hair. Unless all your hair is falling out, you don't need to worry about protein intake.

Genes and age are what determines facial hair. There is little you can do about your genes, but if you wait a few years, you'll have more...but then again, by that time, you'll find that having facial hair is more a pain in the butt than anything =/

Well, if you're rich you can try putting Rogaine on your chin. I think it has a small effect.

If you're really rich, go for some sort of hair transplant operation :D.

P.S. I'm happy to not have much facial hair, less shaving.

Hello,

I agree with the rest of the foreros that facial hair isn't as good as you think. I remember I used to be so anxious about growing facial hair so I could look older or simply acquire a different look by matching it with my eyebrows and hair. However, now that I finally grew some it is annoying to have to shave it off every other day. Specially when you get a reasonable size pimple and have to shave over it. Bloody Hell. And anyway, the majority of girls that I've gone out with find it annoying because it pokes them. They sometimes like the look, but they prefer to caress cheeks that are smooth as baby cheeks.
In addition, if there are some pills or tips on how to grow more hair, I would encourage you not to take or follow them because you might end up growing hair in the wrong areas of your body where it is really uncomfortable. Just something to think about.

having less facial hair is actually quite good...... when i compare my dad and my bro, my dad shaves less as he has less facial hair compared to my bro.... so it was, like, every morning, my bro spends lots of time in the toilet shaving, which is a waste of time..... he could have done something more useful if he doesn't have to shave that much..... my bro has a lot of facial hair, considering that he is an asian....

LOL! Taking care of a beard is just as a pain in the butt as shaving.

I think they affect the follicles directly.
