replyI think I can find some desease cause by Y chromosome
This link is on human genome project, please try: http://www.ebi.ac.uk/proteme/ ( i don't know why I can't connect)
Up to now, only few Y-linked genes has been identified (holandric genes):
1. resesive gene "wt", causing membranes that appeared between fingers and toes (similar to the ones on frogs or ducks). Its allel, Wt, for normal condition. 2. resesive gene "hg", causing "porcupine man" (long, rigid hairs over the body). Its allel, Hg, for normal condition. 3. resesive gene "h", causing "hypertrichosis" (long hairs on auricles). Its allel, H, for normal condition. 4. genes controlling spermatogenesis 5. testis determining factor (TDF) 6. H-Y antigen 7. some genes for height ![]()
