Bones and silica GelCan anyone guide me if bones can be devoid of moisture by putting them in silica gel jars? if yes what damage silica gels could do to them?
I am drying 6 bones in open air in lab after boiling. hoowever all 6 bones have different colors after drying up. some are white some are reddish grey. (see picture attached). does this mean something scientific? Many thanks Zartasha
I would guess only rest of biological material on them. It is good to put the bones into ants' nest and they will get it rid of the meat.
Silica IMHO shouldn't damage the bones. http://www.biolib.cz/en/main/
Cis or trans? That's what matters.
