Difference between Schwann's Cells, myelin sheath and...

Hi,
What is the difference between Schwann's Cells, myelin sheath and neurilemma?

Does Schwann's cells produce the myelin sheath, and the myelin sheath surrounds the axon, kind of, but what does the neurilemma do? Does it wrap the myelin sheath? Thanks!

As far as I know, you are perfectly right.
Schwann cells produce myelin sheath. Myelin sheath surrounds the axon. Neurilemma wraps the myelin sheath.

Schwan cells produce myelin sheath but are found in peripheral neurons only, the neurons of CNS are derived from Oligodendrocytes. I hope it's a bit clear now.

The Schwann cells covers strongly about the axon. Where the central nervous system the myelin is established by oligodendrocytes, it is a glial cells in the brain...
