Can someone identify this for me, plse

Hi,
A couple of kids found this little creature abt 5 ins long in my backyard. It came out of a hole by the side of my down pipe. We are in the Greater Toronto Area in Canada.

I wld apprec if someone cld kindly tell me what it is.
