Biology or ChemistryModerator: BioTeam It's not that hard to do. It takes just a bit more studying than doing them separately. I just chose not to do so, didn't really care if I had two degrees when all I need for medical school is one any way. I know enough about chemistry to be a physician anyway (I've had two semesters of Organic and two semesters of General Chem. and two semesters of Biochemistry). I'm good to go!! lol. I know biology and chemistry are connected, one would fall apart without the other, but I definitely prefer Biology over Chemistry any day.

Not a super geek but a super-duper geek... This time I plan to take molecular biology (if I don't pass in the government exam) and continue it into Virology. If I pass the exam, I plan to take general biology and continue it to.....I don't know.. After I finish it, maybe I can start with the chem one..wish me luck Q: Why are chemists great for solving problems?
A: They have all the solutions.
Virology is a very good course. It is probably in my top two favorite classes second only to Organic Chemistry........*snickers* oh yeah, what kind of person do you think I am? I hate Organic!!!!

Agreed, virology's great! Just love to learn about viruses and diseases they cause, and etc. (Though Chemistry's probably still my favourite lol =D) Seems like lotsa people don't exactly like organic chemistry much?
Me2. Good luck victor... You're gonna need it

I know you hate organic chem because it's unique style that can form a super-duper long carbon chain... Well for the university...just wait the news from Dr.Stein because she will be the 1 who will inform whether I'm accepted or not.. Q: Why are chemists great for solving problems?
A: They have all the solutions.
Relax Dr....there're still so many people who like biology...I am one of them..
At the 1st time when I meet chem, I also said like cyberpostdoc did..but, now..I've found the truth....I choose both of them... Q: Why are chemists great for solving problems?
A: They have all the solutions.
Why wouldn't I like it because it allows for the formation of super long carbon chains? The reason I do not like it is because I had a professor who was very difficult.
