Help needed to identify plant please!Hi,
I have been trying to identify the plant in the photo with the red, fluffy spiked flowers...can anyone help please? The photo was taken in the UK at the end of August/beginning of September. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Re: Help needed to identify plant please!Looks to be some variety of Amaranthus. Hope this helps.
Yes i agree with walela 12 that plant could be the member of familiy : Amaranthaceae, about the species, i am not sure, may be Cellocia spp
When I first looked I thought Chenopodium quinoa? Quite long flower spikes aren't they! http://www.tradewindsfruit.com/quinoa2.jpg
