DNA replication

DNA Replication:
a) starts at an AUG.
b) requires GTP as the energy molecule
c) always starts at a Promoter.
d) requires a free 3' hydroxyl.


I am leaning towards C. This is because a promoter is a DNA sequence that a RNA primer binds to. Thus starting replication.

not really, promoter is used in transcription, not replication

ok i have a question does DNA replication have nuclieotides added to the end after being unwinded and unziped or does it have another step?

what about primer synthesis? Although that's nucleotide adding as well...
