MicrobiologyHow many grams of CO2 are produced by the complete metabolism of 180 grams of glucose?
I am having trouble understanding glycosis.
you do not need to understand glycolysis. You just need to assume, it is completely broken down to CO2 and thus the formula is C6H12O6 + whatever -> 6 CO2 + whatsoever
thus, if you know, how many moles is 180 g of Glc, you know, how many moles of CO2 will you get and thus how many grams you get http://www.biolib.cz/en/main/
Cis or trans? That's what matters.
