Online Study-Summary ResourceHi,
Before I ask my question, I'd like to assure that I have already spent a great deal of time looking for what I seek. I am not asking you for information out of laziness but of close-to last resort. Anyway, I'm looking for a list of the key concepts covered in high school biology. Not the actual information about the concepts, just a list of what they are. For example, "Cells, x, y," and such things that need to be well understood to be properly versed in biology. Also, if you know of the same kind of resource for mathematics, physics, chemistry, and anatomy and physiology, please share them as well. Thank you very much, LightCraft
Have you had a look at the curriculum in science of your location (that you do not disclose...)? That should be what you want.

Re: Online Study-Summary Resource
Hi, Patrick. I am in Pascagoula, Mississippi, in the United States. I am not familiar with a "curriculum in science" of a specific location. I school at home, and I am not familiar with the local high schools' curriculum. Regardless, I am not necessarily in need of a text book like source, I already have text books. The problem with them is that they don't really summarize the most important things, but go over the details. That's great, but not what I need at this time. Thanks for the response, Patrick. My real name is Patrick, too. Patrick
Well the curriculum is what is developed by the department of education of your state. So it list what are the expectations in the different subjects for the students at the different level.
You could start here for Mississipi. But in general it is going to be quite general and not delve into to much details. The good thing about it is that it will tell you where you are with respect to what can be expected at the different levels, up to entering in university. Patrick

Re:
That's not what I'm looking for, although I appreciate the effort. Very simply, I'm looking for a list of concepts that a typical high school biology course would include. Thanks, though. Patrick
Re: Re:
Have a look at that: http://www.mde.k12.ms.us/docs/curriculu ... f?sfvrsn=4 That is what the sate of Mississippi expect students to know for each grade and for High school credits. You can also have a look here to see what is expected to be known by high school students in Ontario in Science: http://www.edu.gov.on.ca/eng/curriculum ... ience.html Patrick
