I band, A-band, and how they vary with actin myosin overlapI have a question that asks the difference between the actin and myosin filament overlap/non-overlap in the I-band, A-band, and H-zone...and then asks how the force varies with the actin-myosin overlap.
In my notes, I find that (though please correct me if I'm wrongt: A-band is thick and contains myosin and actin I-band is thin and just contains actin H-zone is an area in the center of the A-band that has only myosin. So, how do the forces vary with actin-myosin overlap? Any help is greatly appreciated
