According to Developmental Biology: Simple thing can differentiate into complex thing, whereas complex thing never turns back into simple thing :wink:

Of courser the egg came first. Insects lay eggs, fish do, amphibians etc...
If you mean which came first: a bird or that particular bird's egg? Than the answer is the bird
