Female brains and stroke

Postby Mr_wiggles20 » Wed Jul 20, 2005 7:26 pm

I need to know if a female use the left and right hemisphere of the brain. I was told that's way a female would be more likely to recover from a stroke. If you can connect to a site to where in bold print it state that then leave it in my e-mail address.

It's not that use one or the other, it's that they're cross wired between the two hemispheres, while a males brain is more wired within a single side.

Because there's cross linking, they have distributed brain function, so a stroke, which affects one side of the brain, won't have as drastic an effect on recovery as for a male.
