Statictical test to determine accuracy of measurement data

I wasn't sure quite where to post this, so move this if it is necessary.

I have a large amount of pipette measurement values, and I need to work out the accuracy of the equipment. Other than calculating the percentage error of the mean for this data, is there a statistical way of calculating accuracy?

Standard deviation are all you need
Then you compare it for each pipette at different volume to the values given for your particular model of pipette. Instructions for Gilson are available here for example (at the end): ... pettes.pdf
