Prokaryotic and Eukaryotic cellsI don't really understand the which organelles are present in each of the two cells and the function of each organelle. Could someone please help me out, maybe by typing out short notes? Thank you loads:)

Opting for the easy answer with a wiki entry. Maybe if you tell us what you already have, we can add to the list for you (instead of the whole list for you).
Re: Prokaryotic and Eukaryotic cellsHey,
Sorry about that. I have most of the info on the organelles in a eukaryotic cell, but none on the organelles in a prokaryotic cell. The organelles I do not know about in eukaryotic cells are... Lysosome Peroxisome Centriole Centrosome Secretary Vesicle cell membrane Vacuole Chloroplast Cytoskeleton In Prokaryotic cells... Storage Granules Endospore Capsule Outer membrane cell wall Periplasmic space Plasma membrane Flagella Pili Thank you.
Re: Prokaryotic and Eukaryotic cellsThey're not really organelles, but i guess you could refer to them as a part of the cell?
Re: Prokaryotic and Eukaryotic cellsI think, organelles and 'a part of the cell' can be different, cause an organelle is a structure within the cell and 'a part of the cell' can be anywhere, even outside the cell, but attached to it like the flagella or the cells wall.
Re: Prokaryotic and Eukaryotic cellsI made a mistake and people make mistakes! Sorry. I am totally new to all this stuff. haven't even began the course. This is like preparation work we have to do during summer. I still haven't even been helped out. I spent ages trying to underatand it all.
Re: Prokaryotic and Eukaryotic cellsI know... I'm Sorry. Didn't mean to spill it all out like that. Have you done this topic in Bio?
