i am interested in plant proteomics and sth alike, and i want to get a PHD somewhere

my research field is peanut anyway i am majored in chemistry before so i know little about biology

who can tell me what can i do in the field of plant proteomics ? what is the future of this science? PTM subcellular proteomics? or any thing?
