How do I check what color my cat's skin is?I was drawing a catperson when I wondered what to color it's skin. It lead to wonder "What color is a cat's skin anyway?" I tried to look at my cat's skin by parting the hair, but it turns out my cat's hair is so thick I can't see the skin. I then decided to just color the catperson's skin however I feel like. But I was still curious. How do I check what color my cat's skin is?
It is naive to think that the whole universe must conform to the sciences devised by the inhabitants of a single planet.
Veet ?
The sphinx cat is naturally hairless and it appears that they can be any where from perfect pink to quite black with plenty of intermediate forms (not presenting as different shades, but as part pink/part black) do a google image search for this cat and you will have your answer Patrick

I tried. My cat's hair is too thick. Thanks, JackBean. It is naive to think that the whole universe must conform to the sciences devised by the inhabitants of a single planet.

Hi Wilddwarf, you can usually easily check by looking in your cats ears and seeing what color the skin in there, that's not always effective but it helps. Cats skin is usually pink or white, depending on the breed, like for hairless cats they will have differences. Roll your cat over to the thinner fur on it's belly or around it's genitalia. This might help you find an easier spot to check the skin. What kind of cat do you have? All the best, Kelli.
think they have white for sure as human being
