grafting and chromosomesIn a plant grafting is done and the stock has 48 chromosomes and scion has 24 chromosomes . Then the no. of chriomosomes in a root cell and in egg of stock and scion respectively is........???

(The article is irrelevant to your question though, as it is an exception to the rule, and I am thinking that you are just wanting to know the rules first).
