In a plant grafting is done and the stock has 48 chromosomes and scion has 24 chromosomes . Then the no. of chriomosomes in a root cell and in egg of stock and scion respectively is........???

That's a question as it is from a competition book.
May be there's a misprint .

Let's take it as the cell of resultant hybrid.
Then the no. of chromosomes in that cell of resultant hybrid is.....???
