Ecology Help pleaseI have two questions that i can not figure out?
1)It has been stated that mating pattern or behaviors can be explained as the ration of two values. The ration can then be used to place the mating behavior of a species on a continuum from polygynous to polyandrous systems. Explain how this ratio is used and describe what the two values used to provide the ratios are? 2) Polygyny seems to be a very common practice among human societies. Certainly, it is much more common than polyandry. Is it reasonable to assume tat such a situation may be the result of selective forces? If so how can exception to the rule such as cultures practicing polyandry, be explained
