Fatigue SensationHow does the sensation of fatigue come about? I mean are there nerves that sense this?

Re: Fatigue Sensation
Yes, there are nerves in the intestines. I suffer from IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome). Check out Rome III for IBS. Rome I & Rome II were different theories. But it has more to do with the neurotransmitters misfiring. I am not a biochemist, nor a student of that field, but I am a sufferer and during major prolonged attacks I suffer all sorts of things to do with mental health. So bear with me using laymen's terms to explain this. At least I will be able to give you new areas to research. They have now discovered that their are approx 95% of the neurotransmitters in the intestinal track. That the stomach has a brain of its own. Due to the severe intestinal & bowl contractions, signals to the brain get mixed up somehow. They don't know how or why, if they did, we would not be suffering. Hence, depression, anxiety, fatigue etc. I have been subjected to 2 IBS drug studies by Glaxo, Smith & Klein.....they are looking in the area of some sort of psychotic drugs??? on a very low dose to slow all the signals down. Personally, I think that they are way off the mark. Those drug tests gave me horrible symptoms, similar to your question. I have more success with L-Glutamine, Vitamin B-6 in a B complex than with prescription drugs. I have just started it, and will see if it does in fact heal the intestinal lining and help with the signals to the brain. It really has settled things down over these past several days. My depression & anxiety has lifted. How do we know we are fatigued, depressed, have anxiety. Because we don't feel like our happy go lucky, smiley self. So when we see a doctor, no tests are done, they just slap a label on your symptoms and prescribe drugs.....which makes my IBS more crazy. So, drugs are not the answer for healing the gut, which creates all these problems in the 1st place. Also, check out True Hope.com They use mega vitamin dosing to bring the worst cases of Bi-polar to a healthy normal life. It is now being globally researched. Go to their NEWSROOM TAB, and watch the videos. Also, check out Orthomolecular Medicine & the success they have had with mental health issues. Google search: Dr Abram Hoffer, youtube videos This youtube link is a great one to see: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X9cg4454 ... re=related Again, it all starts with feeding the gut what it needs to fire the neurotransmitters properly. The cures, not band-aids, all starts in the gut. Hope this helps you a bit.
