Net Reproductive Rate vs Per Capita Rate of Increase.

I am studying for a final exam and I have come across a topic i cannot seem to find an answer to.

What is the difference between Net reproductive rate and per capita rate of increase.
And why is one centered around 1 while the other centered around 0.

Thank you for any tips or help.
