Cross-pollination -- MendelHey, I'm currently repeating Mendel's experiment of sweet peas.
So far, I already know that my pea plants are purebred. Now, I need to cross pollinate my pea plants. However, the flowers' petals firmly enclose its ovary and stamen. I don't want to rip them apart...because I might accidentally kill the plant. How would I solve this problem? Thanks
look up how the pea plant's sepals separate. chances are it isn't the appropriate time for them to do so, or that they aren't receiving the signal to open them.
