Do someone know SH-SY5Y cells??I am culturing several types of cell.
BUT One of them, SH-SY5Y, has a problem It didn't stick to the surface of culture dish. I used to a mixture of DMEM, FBS and penicillin and the cells are always grown at 37degrees Celsius with 95% air and 5% carbon dioxide. What's something wrong?? Help meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee please
Re: Do someone know SH-SY5Y cells??Hi!
I am using SH-SY5Y since a long time, for my graduation thesis. Have you tried to work with polylysinated dishes? with this simple method I solved all my problem of non attached cells. As Medium it is suggested to use F12:MEM 1:1, FCS(or FBS) 10%, Pen/Strep 2%, Glutamin 200mM, Na-pir 100mM. Hope to have been useful, have a good work!!
my SY5Y's have problems at the moment too. They were low confluency, so I just changed the media, and half hour later, most of them had died
