2 questions in my homework assignment:
1)suggest two ways in which the chromosomes in the nucleus of a pollen cell of couch grass would differ from those of the daughter cells.
2)Explain the need for a reduction division in meiosis.

1) of daughter cells of what? Of the pollen cells?
2) you need to make haploid cells from diploid in order to be able to cross them again

and if you don't half them where will you end up with inifnite chromosomes and many coding for the same protien.
