Thiamine deficiency questionHi,
Im having some problems solving this scenario... A person is deficient in thiamine and this person also has high concentrations of lactate and pyruvate in the blood. What enzyme is affected and would be the cause of the increase in Lactate and pyruvate in the blood and what is the overall reaction catalyzed by this enzyme? Also, what other coenzymes are required for this reaction and what other enzyme would you expect to be deficient in this person?

or http://www.lmgtfy.com/?q=thiamine+enzymes They are basically asking you, which enzymes is thiamine PP cofactor of http://www.biolib.cz/en/main/
